The most common jobs for coil and condenser replacements are usually just to change out the existing equipment, however, we always recommend replacing the entire system to get the maximum efficiency from the hvac unit. This installation was performed in Chatsworth and was a 3 ton condenser and coil change out using AC Pro new Seer 2 equipment. The new technology of more efficient coils and condensers are requiring many other changes in the air flow in the house including static pressure, return sizes, air ducts, as well as the furnace. We can replace only the condenser and coil but remember other changes will be recommended to do so based on the existing equipment and design. We are using R40A freon which is required by code and law in California. If your existing system contains R22 freon, other changes will need to be done such as replacing the lineset and refrigeration lines which will also affect the overall cost of the job. Sometimes we will recommend changing the size of the system based on the required CFM and the current design of the house. We always recommend making sure the professional will be professionally trained on designing hvac systems and knows the codes in the state he is working. When we perform jobs our employees are insured, fully trained and have all the necessary certifications to perform hvac work in your home.
